Westmor Industries purchases Metzler Bros.

Morris, Minnesota-based Westmor Industries has acquired Metzler Bros. Tank Truck & Trailer.

The acquisition will expand Westmor’s ability to sell and service refined fuel and propane transportation products in the mid-eastern U.S. Westmor customers will now have access to an extended network that includes a location in Duncansville, Pennsylvania.

Metzler Bros. Tank Truck & Trailer was founded in 1997 to provide maintenance for Metzler Bros. Transport Inc. In 2013, the company was sold to Joe Pyzowski, who grew it into a local fuel and propane fleet repair company.

Westmor began working with Metzler Bros. as a distributor of the Transtech Tank line.

The Metzler Bros. location was rebranded as Westmor Industries. Current customers of Metzler Bros. will continue working with the same people and expect the same level of service, the company says.

Westmor Industries is a privately owned company with more than 300,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and more than 500 employees. It offers a variety of products used to store, transport and dispense petroleum, propane and other liquids and gases from pipeline to pump.
