Worthington Industries equips tank lids with Otodata monitors

Worthington Industries’ SmartLid featuring Otodata’s tank monitoring technology ensures consistent and accurate placement of the Otodata monitor, as well as easy installation, durable protection and optimal coverage, says Worthington. Each SmartLid monitor includes dual SIM and LTE technology – enabling broader and more reliable cellular coverage for accurate readings – as well as a long battery life and an app delivering real-time data, the company adds. The lid is equipped as an extension of Worthington’s 200- and 420-pound heating tanks and is made from polypropylene, designed to conceal and protect all components from external factors in the field.
