Acquisitions include software provider for propane marketers

April 17, 2017 By

PDI, a software solutions provider, acquired FireStream WorldWide Inc., which serves about 170 clients and provides end-to-end software for downstream and midstream jobbers, lubricant suppliers and propane marketers.

PDI provides software solutions to the convenience store and wholesale petroleum marketers industries to help with retail automation, business intelligence, financial reporting, workforce management and end-to-end fuel supply chain. As a result of the acquisition, PDI will add additional portfolio offerings from FireStream focused on wholesale and logistics with supply chain planning and mobile computing, according to the company.

PDI also acquired DataMax Group Inc., a back office software provider for convenience stores, and Lomosoft, a logistics company. All three acquisitions will accelerate the company’s growth and expand its footprint, PDI says.

“PDI is investing in a global footprint to expand its market reach,” says Jimmy Frangis, CEO of PDI. “We feel the complementary nature of these businesses brings tremendous benefits to our existing client and employee base. All three companies PDI has acquired have established a leadership presence in their market for more than 20 years.”
