11th LP Gas Growth Summit kicks off in Florida

The LP Gas Growth Summit has entered its second decade of building propane partnerships.
LP Gas kicked off its 11th Growth Summit today at Reunion Resort in Orlando, Florida, where more than 70 total attendees gathered from various segments of the propane industry. That includes 20 retail propane companies from across the country, 21 industry partners, a guest speaker from a propane risk management and consulting firm, and LP Gas staff – all coming together to help the industry build partnerships for the future.

“The fact that we’ve brought propane retailers and industry partners together for over 10 years now is very rewarding for us,” says LP Gas Brand Manager Brian Kanaba. “With so many changes, challenges and opportunities in the propane industry today, providing a platform where company leaders can spend quality time together and discuss a path forward together is essential for the future of our industry.”
Today’s events feature a Meet the Partners session, in which partner companies each give a brief introduction to attending retailers, and a welcome reception and dinner.
During breakfast on the second day of the Growth Summit, guest speaker Dustin Delay, vice president of Cost Management Solutions, will provide a propane market update and share strategies that help retailers manage their supply costs. Retailers and partners will then enter private one-on-one meetings in which retailers rotate every 20 minutes to visit each of the partner suites at Reunion Resort. A golf outing takes place in the afternoon followed by a poolside barbecue.
The final day of the Growth Summit features a propane retailer panel discussion, moderated by LP Gas Editor-in-Chief Brian Richesson, during breakfast before another round of one-on-one meetings between retailers and partners.
Growth Summit partners provide a variety of products, equipment and services to the industry. Those participating this year are ADD Systems; Anova; Cargas; First West Insurance; Fisk Tank Carrier; Gray, Gray & Gray; IPS; JMcLean Energy Insurance; Legacy Energy Consulting; LP Cylinder Service; Metsa; Mopeka; Nexio; One-Tank; Otodata; PDI Technologies; PriMedia; Quality Steel; Rural Computer Consultants; Tiger Payment Solutions; and Westmor.
