Propane fuel bus for Go!Bus fleet in MichiganThe Rapid, a transportation service company in Grand Rapids, Mich., partnered with Roush CleanTech to add four propane-fueled buses to its Go!Bus fleet. Go!Bus provides rides to seniors and people with disabilities who cannot ride fixed route buses.

“We know propane works in our climate, and the vehicles have a very similar engine, so the maintenance program is the same,” says Peter Varga, CEO of the Rapid. “It is also important that propane is produced here in the United States, supporting American jobs and reducing dependency on foreign oil.”

The Rapid’s Go!Bus facility also added an autogas fueling station to help with maintenance of the four new buses.
