Paraco Gas promoted Christina Armentano to COO. She was previously the executive vice president of sales, marketing and M&A at the company.

“This is an important moment in Paraco’s history, and I am honored to work with our talented and agile team to build on our strong momentum,” Armentano says in a press release. “I’m excited to deliver on our vision and accelerate our strategic growth with a continued focus on innovation, customer experience and operational excellence.”

In her new role, Armentano will be responsible for the company’s business operations, including execution of its fiscal 2022 goals and strategic initiatives.

“Christina’s contributions over her tenure have been invaluable to the growth of our company – from both a business perspective and a cultural one,” says Joe Armentano, chairman and CEO of Paraco. “Christina brings a passion to her work that inspires and motivates our team to strive for excellence.”

Armentano has spent nearly a decade in leadership positions at Paraco. Before joining the company in 2014, she had a career with several leading executive search and board advisory services firms.

She earned a master’s in business administration from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a degree in business administration from James Madison University.

Family-owned and -operated Paraco Gas is headquartered in Rye Brook, New York, and was founded in 1968 by Pat Armentano. The company is ranked in the top 15 U.S. propane retailers by gallon sales, according to the 2021 LP Gas Top Propane Retailer rankings.
