Blossman Gas has been ranked No. 19 among the 100 Best Commercial Fleets in the Americas by the NAFA Fleet Management Association.

The annual program recognizes commercial fleets that demonstrate excellence in efficiency, innovation and operational performance.

The honor reflects the company’s long-term investment in fleet performance through technology, proactive maintenance and the adoption of alternative fuels. Those efforts have improved fleet reliability, reduced operating costs and supported safe operations across Blossman’s service area, according to the company.

A key part of the company’s fleet strategy is its alternative fuel adoption through Alliance AutoGas, Blossman Gas’ bi-fuel technology division. More than 75 percent of the company’s nearly 1,000 vehicles operate on propane autogas.

Alliance AutoGas’ bi-fuel technology allows vehicles to operate on propane autogas or gasoline, providing fuel flexibility, extended driving range and reliable performance in a variety of operating environments. Through proactive fuel management, Blossman maximizes propane use whenever possible, lowering emissions and operating expenses.

The resulting fuel savings are reinvested in the fleet through vehicle replacements, maintenance, technology upgrades and other operational improvements. The company’s fleet operates on an average fuel mix of 79 percent propane and 21 percent gasoline.

“This recognition reflects the dedication of our team and our continued investment in efficient and sustainable fleet operations,” says Steve McCoy, vice president of business development. “We are especially proud of the progress we’ve made in expanding the use of propane autogas as a cleaner, more cost-effective transportation fuel.”

As Blossman Gas celebrates its 75th anniversary, the recognition also honors the drivers, technicians and team members who keep the fleet operating each day, the company adds.

“Being awarded 19th Best Commercial Fleet in America is an honor and exemplifies our dedication to fleet safety, excellence and best practices,” says Eddie Waldrop, vice president of fleet operations.
