Alliance AutoGas close to covering Ford’s entire F-Series fleet

Alliance AutoGas received Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certifications covering 10 of the 2012 and 2013 Ford vehicle platforms. The make and model families for which Alliance received EPA certification of the Prins VSI system are the 5.0-liter F-150 pickup; the 6.2-liter F-250 pickup; the 6.2-liter F-250 bed delete; the 6.2-liter F-350 pickup; and the 6.2-liter Ford F-350 bed delete. These models are certified for both two- and four-wheel drive.

In addition, Alliance received certifications for four additional 5.0-liter Ford F-150 two-wheel drive pickups for 2011 and 2014.

According to a press release, the 6.2-liter F-250 models are available with a gaseous fuel prep package. In addition, Stuart Weidie, Alliance’s president, says 6.8-liter vehicle models are currently being tested.

Also, four propane retailers recently joined the Alliance AutoGas network. The four new members are Chiles Propane, which is located in Franklin and Pulaski, Tenn.; Midwestern Propane, Belleville, Ill.; Western Iowa Co-op, Hornick, Iowa; and Agri-Energy Propane, Montrose, S.D.
