AmeriGas elects member to its board of directors

AmeriGas Partners LP elected Pedro A. Ramos to join AmeriGas Propane’s board of directors.

Ramos formerly served as the president and CEO of the Philadelphia Foundation, a charity committed to improving the quality of life in the five-county Philadelphia region. He also served as a partner with various law firms in the area.

“[Ramos] is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in navigating complex business and government affairs matters,” says Lon Greenberg, chairman of AmeriGas Partners LP, in a press release. “His leadership in the Philadelphia region, as well as his legal and business expertise, will be valuable assets to the general partner and AmeriGas.”

In other people news, James B. Stallings Jr. was elected a director of UGI Corp., AmeriGas’ parent company. Stallings serves as managing partner of PS27 Ventures LLC, a private investment fund focused on technology companies.
