Blossman Gas acquires Florida-based retailer

Blossman Gas acquired Southern Propane, based in Jacksonville, Fla., marking the company’s fifth acquisition within the past 12 months.

According to Blossman Gas, Southern Propane’s 2,500 customers will join Blossman’s customer base of about 150,000. Blossman will also service Southern Propane’s Jacksonville-based autogas customers.

Southern Propane was in business for 34 years in the Jacksonville market. Blossman says six Southern Propane employees will join the Blossman team.
