Blossman Gas acquires Georgia-based A & A Gas

Blossman Gas acquired family-owned propane company A & A Gas, based in Carrollton, Georgia.

“It’s been great to find another propane family such as Blossman that is as passionate about the propane industry, safety and customer service as we are,” says Patrick Steed, an A & A Gas employee and family member.

A & A Gas had served customers in Georgia for nearly four decades. The company will be rolled into the current Blossman Gas location in Bowdon, Georgia.

“This is an exciting acquisition,” says Stuart Weidie, president and CEO of Blossman Gas. “After 38 years of service and loyalty to their customers, we are pleased that A & A Gas selected Blossman Gas to transition their business.”

Blossman Gas, based in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, has served customers across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic for more than 65 years. The company delivers propane and propane appliances to more than 170,000 customers in 16 states.

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Blossman Gas is taking extra measures to keep its communities safe, including the use of proper personal protective equipment when out in the field. Blossman Gas is sanitizing company vehicles prior to the start of each shift. This includes but is not limited to wiping down vehicle seats, dashboards, door handles and steering wheels. All Blossman Gas retail locations are currently closed to walk-in traffic.
