BP Energy’s NGLs team announces six retirements

Several members of BP Energy Co.’s natural gas liquids (NGLs) team in Houston plan to retire this year. BP Energy reports the following individuals retired or plan to retire in 2015:

Jill Hood, southeast propane marketer of BP Energy's NGLs Houston team, retiresJill Hood, southeast propane marketer, will retire Sept. 25. Hood worked in the energy industry for more than 35 years. She has worked at BP, Western Gas Resources and Union Texas Petroleum. Hood has also served various roles on BP Energy’s NGLs team, including marketing, analytics and scheduling.

 

 

Ross Matthews, Eastern Canada marketer with BP Energy's NGLs team in Houston, retiresRoss Matthews, Eastern Canada marketer, will retire Nov. 13. Matthews worked in the energy industry for 36 years. He worked at BP Energy for 34 years in Calgary, Alberta; Sarnia, Ontario; and Houston.

 

 

Ken McLeod, east propane marketer for BP Energy NGLs team in Houston, retiresKen McLeod, east propane marketer, will retire Sept. 25. McLeod worked with BP Energy for 35 years and in the NGLs industry for 23 years. He has been involved in multiple state and regional propane gas associations, including Alabama, Georgia, New England, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

 

 

Craig Whitley, global NGL analytics leader for BP Energy NGLs team in Houston, retiresCraig Whitley, global NGL analytics team leader, will retire Dec. 18. Whitley has been in the energy industry for almost 45 years. He worked at BP Energy for five years. He also worked at Purvin & Gertz for 18 years. Whitley has been a member of various industry associations, including the National Propane Gas Association, Gas Processors Association and the World LPG Association.

 

 

Mike Barnes, vice president of east NGLs marketing and supply team for BP Energy NGLs team in Houston, retiresMike Barnes, vice president of the east NGLs marketing and supply team, retired April 17. He worked in the energy industry for 36 years. Barnes worked for BP Energy for 26 years. He also served as the vice chair for producers on the Propane Education & Research Council’s executive committee.

 

 

Rick Jennings, western Canada marketer for BP Energy's NGL team in Houston, retiresRick Jennings, Western Canada marketer, retired March 31. Jennings worked at BP Energy for about 35 years.

 

Current members of BP Energy’s NGLs team in Houston will take over the retirees’ positions. The individuals taking on new roles and responsibilities following the retirements are:

  • Tim Adams, managing director of south, east and west NGLs
  • Leanne Mazoch, northeast marketer
  • Anna Rector, southeast and Gulf Coast activities
  • Axel Lewin, director of Canadian NGLs origination
