B&P Propane acquires northeast Kansas retailer

B&P Propane and Knotty Pine Oil Co. purchased Holton, Kansas-based Petree Propane, according to The Holton Recorder of Holton, Kansas. The acquisition was completed on Aug. 1. Combined, the companies have served northeast Kansas for more than 120 years. In a letter, Petree Propane owner Barry Petree notified customers about his upcoming retirement and thanked them for their business support, the newspaper reported.
