Cargas hired Corey Meyer as its vice president of emerging business.

In this role, Meyer will focus on scaling the company’s innovation efforts alongside its team, customers and partners. He will work to develop additional offerings in existing and new markets that solve customer problems in new ways.

Most recently, Meyer served as associate vice president of consumer digital health at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. He was previously the organization’s director of strategic acceleration.

Meyer earned a Master of Business Administration from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science from West Chester University.

“We’re all excited that Corey is joining the Cargas team,” says Nate Scott, president and CEO of Cargas. “Innovating for our customers is critical to achieving our vision of transitioning ownership and leadership to future generations of employee-owners. This leadership role will help us continue to focus on the new opportunities to help our customers achieve success.”

Cargas, based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is an employee-owned software company for fuel delivery and HVAC service companies. The company recently published its fourth annual Top Technology Trends in Fuel Delivery Benchmarking Report. The research includes data collected from more than 100 fuel dealers about how they’re using technology in a changing industry.
