Davenport Energy Inc., a petroleum products company in Chatham, Va., that provides propane to residential and commercial customers, acquired two heating oil companies in Virginia.

Davenport Energy purchased APB Whiting Oil Co. in Roanoke, Va., and Whiting Jamison Oil Co. in Covington, Va., from Petroleum Marketers Inc. According to Davenport Energy, the two heating oil companies provide heating oil and petroleum products to residential and commercial customers. APB Whiting also offers furnace, boiler, burner and air conditioning installation in the Roanoke area.
