Dish Network makes major autogas investment
Roush CleanTech made a pair of announcements at this week’s NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, including one that touted Dish Network’s commitment to invest in 200 Roush propane autogas Ford E-250 cargo vans for its fleet. The new vehicles will support Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Dish expects to save about $2,500 per vehicle per year.
In addition, Roush and Green Alternative Systems (GAS) unveiled their new Ford F-550 chassis cab powered by autogas at the truck show. According to Roush, the vehicle offers about 65 usable gallons and can be customized to carry up to 33 passengers.
