EDP acquires Ohio-based Anderson Propane Services

January 15, 2019 By

Energy Distribution Partners (EDP) acquired southeastern Ohio-based Anderson Propane Services.

Danny and Lisa Anderson have owned and managed Anderson Propane Services since 1999. The company was founded in 1955 by Danny Anderson’s grandfather and primarily serves residential customers in and around Caldwell and Uhrichsville, Ohio.

“We greatly value our employees, our customers and our involvement in the local community, so when we decided to transition our business, we looked for a quality company that would continue to carry on our commitment to our core values,” says Danny Anderson. “We selected EDP because of its reputation for treating employees well, providing excellent service to customers and for remaining active supporters of the local community. We know that we’re leaving our company in good hands with EDP.”

Anderson Propane Services is EDP’s seventh operation in Ohio and marks the Chicago company’s 22nd transaction overall.

“Danny and Lisa have run an exceptional operation and we are delighted to assume ownership of Anderson Propane Services,” says Tom Knauff, CEO of EDP. “They have a terrific team of employees and have built an outstanding reputation in the communities they serve. We look forward to carrying on their legacy.”
