EDP adds regional vice president

Energy Distribution Partners (EDP) hired Robert Ragle to serve as regional vice president of the eastern region of the United States.

Ragle is responsible for leading operations management teams to achieve service, quality and operational efficiency metrics.

“The role of a leader is to communicate a vision for the future that energizes and creates an unstoppable drive for success,” Ragle says.

Ragle has more than 19 years of experience in the propane industry, serving from general manager to division president throughout his career.

In addition to his involvement in the propane industry and establishment of several startup operations, Ragle served in the U.S. Army and is a combat veteran. He received a U.S. Army Achievement Medal in the first oak-leaf cluster and a U.S. Army Commendation Medal in the third oak-leaf cluster.

EDP services more than 120,000 customers in 10 states, with a presence in both rural America and major metropolitan areas. It ranked as one of the top 10 independent multi-state marketers, according to the 2020 LP Gas Top Propane Retailer rankings.
