EDP appoints region vice presidents, operational analyst

Energy Distribution Partners (EDP) hired two region vice presidents and an operational analyst.

Jay Werner and Bill Cummings join EDP as vice presidents of the company’s Western and Northeast regions, respectively. They are responsible for leading operations management teams to achieve safety, service, quality and operational efficiency metrics in their regions. Cummings will also work in conjunction with EDP’s corporate development team, assisting with sourcing acquisitions in the Northeast.

Werner brings an extensive range of experiences in the propane industry and competitive markets, from serving at the customer level to CEO, according to EDP.

Cummings began his career in the propane industry in the early 1980s, during which time he took on roles in the Propane Gas Association of New England, National Propane Gas Association and other large associations to institute policy changes, says EDP.

As EDP’s new operational analyst, Laura Hawkinson is responsible for producing impactful management reporting. Hawkinson has spent her entire career within the propane industry.

“I am very excited to be a part of the talented team at EDP where the organization is keenly focused on growth and operational efficiency,” says Hawkinson. “In my role, I will help drive those goals by providing leadership with meaningful reporting and visibility tools to maximize company performance and profitability.”
