EDP mourns sudden death of co-founder, COO

Energy Distribution Partners (EDP) announced its co-founder and COO, Marlo Young, died unexpectedly.

“Marlo Young touched so many lives, including those of our EDP family members and others throughout the industry,” says Tom Knauff, CEO of EDP. “He was recognized throughout the propane business for his wise counsel and positive leadership.”

Young was a long-time propane industry leader, as well as a member of EDP since its founding in 2012. He had experience in the energy sector and previously served in operating and executive roles with Ferrellgas, Cornerstone Propane and Inergy Propane.

“At EDP, Marlo helped build a dedicated, resilient team of highly capable executives and managers,” Knauff continues. “We are greatly saddened to lose our friend and colleague, and we offer our deepest sympathy to his family.”
