Eight autogas vehicles added to transportation company’s fleet

October 25, 2013 By

Knight’s Airport Limousine Service Inc. added propane autogas vehicles to its fleet and unveiled them recently at a special event. The transportation company’s eight autogas vehicles will service Logan International Airport, T.F. Green Airport and all New England and New York airports, as well as provide ground transportation for private events. The fleet consists of Roush CleanTech Ford E-350 passenger vans. Knight’s also installed an aboveground 18,000-gallon tank at its facility in Shrewsbury, Mass.

According to Knight’s, it worked alongside Roush, the Propane Education & Research Council, the Propane Gas Association of New England and state Sen. Michael Moore, D-Mass., to change Massachusetts state regulations. Massachusetts now allows alternative fuel vehicles to travel through its tunnels. Due to the recent change, Knight’s elected to move forward with the autogas vehicles.
