Emerson acquires vapor control equipment manufacturer

Emerson Process Management acquired Enardo LLC, a manufacturer of tank and terminal safety equipment, including hatches, vent, pressure and vacuum relief valves, and flame arrestors. According to Emerson President Steve Sonnenberg, Emerson sees Enardo’s tank vapor controls applications as complementary to its regulator technologies portfolio.

According to a press release, Enardo made $65 million in sales last year and employs 140 people at its headquarters and operations in Tulsa, Okla.
