Empire Tanker starts LPG cargo tank division

Empire Tanker, based in Bloomington, Calif., developed an LPG cargo tank division under the leadership of Joe Moore.

Moore served as a branch manager for Meeder Equipment Co. as an LP gas wholesale parts distributor for about five years before starting Empire Tanker’s new division.

Empire Tanker’s LPG cargo tank division can repair MC 331 and MC 330 bobtails and transport trailers. Moore says he noticed propane companies in Southern California had a need for this type of service.

Empire Tanker’s LPG cargo tank division can perform tank stretches, repairs, mounts and chassis changeovers. Additionally, the division can sandblast, paint and place a company logo on a tank.
