Energy Distribution Partners hires marketing manager
A new marketing manager joined Energy Distribution Partners (EDP) earlier this year.
In the position, new hire Jose Cardenas is responsible for leading marketing efforts to achieve consistent and impactful messaging, according to EDP.
“There are many options for any given product. Promoting the culture that stands behind that product is what is really important,” Cardenas says. “EDP sets a premier standard for taking good care of their customers and I support that mentality.”
Prior to this position, Cardenas worked for The Hill Group, one of the largest mechanical engineering firms in Chicago.
Over the last 10 years, Cardenas held marketing and design roles, where he had ownership of the strategy and execution of integrated marketing plans. Those plans included brand awareness build, lead generation and sales support. He is experienced in creating branding strategies and digital marketing, the company says.
“Our rapid growth organically and in acquisitions has driven the need to bring on a dedicated marketing resource to build on and expand our marketing presence. We are very pleased to have Jose join the EDP team. Jose will have a meaningful role, and his expertise and professionalism will propel our marketing strategies across the company in all areas,” says Tom Knauff, CEO of EDP.
EDP is experienced in retail and commercial propane sales, operations and finance. It services more than 120,000 customers in 10 states, with a presence in both rural America and major metropolitan areas. It ranked as one of the top 10 independent multi-state marketers, according to the 2020 LP Gas Top Propane Retailer rankings.
