Enterprise Products Partners reopens Mississippi plant

December 15, 2016 By

Enterprise Products Partners completed repairs necessary to allow operations to resume at its natural gas processing plant in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

The plant has been out of service since June 27, when Enterprise shut down the facility because of a fire, the company says.

Enterprise’s Pascagoula plant receives natural gas from third-party pipelines. It includes three trains with about 1.5 billion cu. ft. per day of capacity. The facility previously averaged about 400 million cu. ft. per day of inlet volumes. The company purchased the Pascagoula plant from BP early in 2016, according to Enterprise.

Enterprise Products Partners is a publicly traded partnership and a North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals.
