Conversion kits propel Blossman into mower market

July 23, 2014 By

Blossman Services Inc. received EPA certifications for a number of Kawasaki propane engines for its Enerkit mower conversion kits. Blossman received certifications for engine model years 2008 through 2014, with engine horsepower ranging from 15.5 to 25.5.

According to Blossman, an Enerkit incorporates a regulator and a duel-venturi mixer. A kit does not require a tuner. Enerkit components are designed for small-engine use only, the company adds.

In addition, kits for the Kawasaki FX801V engine qualify for a $500 incentive through the Propane Education & Research Council’s Propane Mower Incentive Program.
