F M Popovich & Sons joins Paraco Gas

Paraco Gas, headquartered in Rye Brook, New York, acquired F M Popovich & Sons, based in Ashland, Massachusetts.

Fred and Wilma Popovich founded the Popovich family business in 1946. The company grew to serve about 850 propane customers.

Paraco is also a family-owned and -operated business that has served Worcester County, Massachusetts, since 2007.

Paraco acquired the Popovich business upon owners Fred and Hildegard Popovich’s retirement.

“Paraco had been serving Worcester County with propane product for over a decade,” says Fred Popovich, president of F M Popovich & Sons. “They already know our customers’ needs and our supply demands very well, so this will be an easy and seamless transition.”
