Faces & Places: August 2024
1. The Massachusetts Propane Association has worked to inform the public about the Clean Heat Standard and how it will impact households and businesses. The standard aims to increase clean heat services of heating energy providers and phase down the use of pipeline gas, fuel oil and propane heat. The group met at Lin’s Propane Trucks earlier this year to hear from area propane and oil marketers about the proposed regulations. They were joined by state government leaders.
2. Eastern Propane & Oil’s Energy Bear, “Big E,” visits with Maysen at the Northeast Coffee Festival in New Hampshire. The company introduced its new mascot earlier this year.
3. Phoenix Park Energy Marketing LLC (PPEML) signed a contract with 360 Rail Services to expand the delivery capacity of its Phoenix Park Hull terminal in Hull, Texas. From left are Thomas Frey and Ramesh Harrylal of PPEML and Tom Jeffery Nelson and Mike Murray of 360 Rail Services.
4. Rural Computer Consultants’ Nancy Mathison and Freddie Ridler, right, have fun with Dustin Owens of Owens Energy during this year’s RCC Customer Seminar (take a closer look at Dustin’s shirt). The event features face-to-face interactions with customers and vendors, an appreciation event, a vendor fair, education and networking.
5. Mike DelConte, vice president of sales at F.W. Webb, ran in the London Marathon earlier this year and got to enjoy some family time across the Atlantic. It was his seventh marathon. He ran in Berlin last September and now has Sydney on his calendar for September 2024. He also had applied for the March 2025 marathon in Tokyo. F.W. Webb is a wholesale equipment supplier. It has over 100 locations across nine states.
