Foster Fuels and Colonial Group, two companies founded in 1921 and now in their fourth generation of family involvement, are joining forces. Colonial Group, headquartered in Savannah, Georgia, acquired Foster Fuels, based in Brookneal, Virginia. Foster Fuels says it will continue to serve customers under the same brand and leadership.

Mark Leitman, formerly of the Propane Education & Research Council and Blue Star Gas, visited LP Gas offices in Cleveland this summer. Leitman, who now lives in the Cleveland area, has been writing a column in LP Gas about agriculture and other propane market topics.
