Ferrell North America hires vice president

Ferrell North America (FNA), the wholesale propane supply arm of Ferrellgas, named Sonny Catlett II as vice president.

Catlett has worked in the transportation industry for 18 years, and joins FNA after serving as senior vice president at HNRY Logistics and sales, pricing and business intelligence team lead at YRC Worldwide. In his prior positions, Catlett focused on the automation of supply chain decisions.

Catlett will lead acquisition and transportation strategy of all raw materials for Blue Rhino and parent company Ferrellgas. He will also lead the mergers and acquisition team for Ferrellgas.

Catlett earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA in finance and management information systems from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.

FNA is located in Overland Park, Kansas, and provides management for the purchasing and delivery of propane to Ferrellgas’ retail operation locations throughout the United States, which in turn provide supply to customers.
