Ferrellgas acquires Reliable Propane

Ferrellgas Partners LP acquired Sikeston, Missouri-based Reliable Propane for undisclosed terms.

Ferrellgas says the acquisition of Reliable Propane, a third-party Blue Rhino distributor, is evidence of the company’s commitment to growing its core propane business and tank exchange segment. Additionally, the acquisition represents an avenue to improve operational efficiencies and lower production and delivery expenses.

Ferrellgas is ranked second on the 2019 LP Gas magazine Top Propane Retailer rankings.

Reliable Propane delivers propane cylinders to retail partners in the Midwest and the South from locations in Springfield, Missouri; Starkville, Mississippi; Olive Branch, Mississippi; and Benton, Arkansas.
