Ferrellgas promotes director of business development

Pendill will support the company’s efforts to acquire multi-state and independent propane operations, the company explains.

“I’m looking forward to getting to know more of our nation’s propane marketers through office visits and at industry events around the country,” Pendill says. “There seem to be some misconceptions out there that Ferrellgas is not willing or able to make acquisitions. That simply can’t be further from the truth. Along with our team of business development executives, I am looking forward to discussing any and all acquisition opportunities.”

Based in St. Michael, Minnesota, Pendill joined Ferrellgas in December 2017 as an account manager after a 27-year career in the wholesale equipment business.

According to the 2019 LP Gas Top Propane Retailer Rankings, Ferrellgas is the second largest propane retailer in the United States, measured by gallon sales. The company sold 636.7 million gallons of propane in 2018.
