Fisk Tank Carrier, a Wisconsin-based custom boom truck and propane hauling trailer manufacturing company, acquired a vacant building to the east of its current location and submitted planning applications to extend its existing facilities by 25,000 sq. ft.

The company says the facility expansion is in anticipation of business growth and allows it to build and service larger fleets. Additionally, the facility will help the company with crane truck assembly, propane conversions and annual inspections.

“This expansion has been a long time coming and we are happy to be able to service our existing customers better with time frames and needs, as well as take on more opportunities with new customers,” says Nathan Roberts, CEO and owner of Fisk Tank Carrier. “This is an exciting time for Fisk, but our rapid growth in all our divisions has presented real challenges with space, both to accommodate the new equipment required to manufacture an ever-expanding range of products and the numerous people that we are currently recruiting for all aspects of our business.”

According to the company, completion of the project was initially set for mid-April.

“The new site acquisition and proposed expansion to our Columbus facilities are a necessary part of ensuring for the long term that we can continue to prosper and create high-quality products for our customers and jobs for the community that supports us,” Roberts says.
