2016 Ford truck models include autogas option
Ford released its 2016 F-650/F-750 medium-duty trucks in the United States with availability to purchase this summer.
According to Ford, the 6.8-liter version of these trucks can be factory-prepped for conversions to propane autogas or compressed natural gas as alternatives to gasoline.
The 6.8-liter V10 with 320 horsepower and 460 pounds per foot of torque incorporates heavy-duty TorqShift six-speed automatic transmission. Ford released its medium-duty trucks with regular cab, SuperCab and crew cab body styles.
The company says the 2016 F-650/F-750 medium-duty trucks are the first of these models to be assembled in the United States – in Avon Lake, Ohio – after having been built in Mexico.
