GasTec purchases NorthEast Propane

January 12, 2024 By

GasTec, a provider of propane solutions, acquired Philadelphia-based NorthEast Propane, expanding GasTec’s services and geographic reach.

NorthEast Propane specializes in partnering with construction companies, providing heating solutions for temporary heating systems and facilitating construction processes during the winter months.

According to GasTec, this acquisition marks a strategic move to leverage NorthEast Propane’s expertise and connections with contractors and builders.

The acquisition includes two locations: one in Philadelphia and the other in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Both will play integral roles in GasTec’s continued growth and service offerings, according to the company.

The Philadelphia location will continue to operate under its existing name and serve as a filling station for customers to fill their propane tanks on-site. GasTec says it plans enhancements to the facility over the coming months.

The Willow Grove location will transition to GasTec’s branding and serve primarily as a storage depot.
