Kenworth of Louisiana opens new facility

Kenworth of Louisiana-Shreveport, a Kenworth dealer, opened a facility in Bossier City, La., that occupies a 2,000-square-foot office and a 10,500-square-foot building for service and parts.

The service department offers six bays and the parts department offers a large inventory. The location also provides sales support, leasing and rental services through its onsite PACCAR Leasing franchise.

According to the company, the new facility will help serve the surrounding community and its growing business area for logging, light manufacturing and oil and gas industries. Kenworth of Louisiana has been a service provider to the commercial trucking industry for about 40 years and operates six locations throughout the state.
