Lehr brings higher-horsepowered propane boat engine to market

November 5, 2012 By

Lehr Inc., which launched 2.5- and 5.0-hp propane boat engines earlier this year as OEM outboards, recently introduced a 9.9-hp propane boat engine.

Among the benefits of propane as a boat motor fuel, according to Lehr, are lower fuel costs, no gasoline polluting the water, no ethanol- or fuel-related issues, zero evaporative emissions and no carburetor gum-up.

LP Gas covered the launch of the original 2.5- and 5.0-hp models in its October motor fuels issue. Read the article here.
