LPG Spotlight: Sea Breeze Propane

As proven by co-founders Ryan McCabe, Walter Haly and Alexis Sohr, the sky is truly the limit for Sea Breeze Propane.
Less than two years after its founding, the propane retailer secured a partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
“Sea Breeze has never been short on personality and, as it turns out, that personality is exactly what caught the Jaguars’ attention,” says Jake Lindauer, general manager. “We ran a radio ad on local sports radio, and the Jaguars organization reached out directly to ask if we’d be interested in becoming a partner.”
Sea Breeze didn’t hesitate. Within weeks, a contract was signed, and it began planning its full activation of services for the Jaguars’ 2026-27 season.
The retailer is serving the Jaguars in two key ways. First, it’s offering propane delivery to the team training facility and outdoor amphitheater, via cylinder fills. And second, it’s handling all of the Jaguars’ propane forklift needs.
However, as it prepares to kick off its first year as an official partner, its responsibilities will increase considerably soon.
“This is the beginning of a much larger relationship,” Lindauer emphasizes. “The Jaguars are in the process of building a new stadium, and we’re actively positioning Sea Breeze to contribute to that project in a meaningful way.”
Lindauer says a development of this scale will require significant propane needs long term. Due to the Sea Breeze team’s decades of experience – for instance, McCabe has worked in the propane industry for 20 years – Lindauer believes the retailer is prepared to be a partner that the Jaguars can “turn to.”
“We’re thrilled to be part of the team,” he says. “Whether it’s fueling tailgates, providing outdoor heating or supporting game-day activations, Sea Breeze is ready to show up in whatever way the organization needs us.”
If a newly created propane retailer can acquire a partnership with a professional sports organization, so can any other independent retailer. In Lindauer’s opinion, it boils down to fully understanding how crucial this type of partnership is.
“The visibility is valuable, but the instant credibility that comes with aligning your brand with a beloved local franchise is what makes it worth pursuing,” he explains. “If your market has a team, it’s worth the conversation.”
Sea Breeze’s partnership with the Jaguars has led more customers to view the retailer as “a serious, credible operator.” Doors have opened that likely wouldn’t have otherwise.
According to Lindauer, every retailer is an “ambassador – for their own brand” and propane. Through partnerships in their local communities, retailers can potentially promote propane to thousands of people.
