Marshall Excelsior creates pilot relief valve manifold

May 15, 2024 By

Created for large LPG and NH3 stationary storage container applications, Marshall Excelsior’s ASME pilot relief valve manifold has a 4-in. 300# ANSI flanged opening. Consequently, the manifold – and its valve-controlled relief mechanism – enables users to have accurate start to discharge set points, ranging from 250 to 265 PSIG for LPG and NH3 applications, respectively. Offering a high flow angled seat design, the manifold helps users achieve high relief flow capacities as well. If users are utilizing the manifold for LPG applications, their flow capacity will be 44,278 standard cu. ft. per minute (SCFM)/air. To compare, if they’re using it for NH3 applications, their flow capacity will rise to 46,811 SCFM/air. Providing a streamlined, dual-valve design, the ME910P series manifold eliminates any necessity for additional, conventional external pressure relief valves, too.
