MFA Oil acquires western Missouri propane operation

August 14, 2018 By

MFA Oil Co. acquired the propane and farm fuel operations of Frazier Oil & LP Gas Co. Inc., an independent retailer in Gower, Missouri.

“Frazier Oil’s propane and farm fuel business is a natural fit for our company and we are excited to welcome their customers,” says Jon Ihler, vice president of sales and marketing for MFA Oil.

Frazier Oil serves residential, agricultural and commercial customers in Buchanan, Clinton and Platte counties. The company was founded in 1969. MFA Oil plans to service its new customers from its existing locations in Platte City, Missouri, and St. Joseph, Missouri, the company says.

“We are really pleased to have found such an ideal fit for this aspect of our business,” says Scott Frazier, president of Frazier Oil. “MFA Oil has a great team of people along with the resources and technology to take care of our long-time customers. They offer great service and will improve our operations, which is a great opportunity for our customers.”

This is the seventh acquisition of MFA Oil’s 2018 fiscal year, which began Sept. 1, 2017.
