The Missouri Propane Gas Association (MPGA) recognized 11 students from MPGA-member families who have been selected to receive scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year through the National Propane Gas Foundation (NPGF).

Together, these students will receive more than $17,000 in scholarship funding through a combination of MPGA-endowed funds, memorial scholarships, national awards and the Missouri Propane CONNECT workforce development grant funded by the Missouri Propane Education and Research Council (MOPERC).

“One of the most rewarding opportunities we have as an association is investing in the next generation,” says MPGA President and CEO Luke Fitzpatrick. “These scholarships help students pursue their educational and career goals while reflecting the strong values and work ethic found throughout Missouri’s propane industry. We are honored to play a small role in their future success.”

The 2026 scholarship recipients are:

  • Jamisyn Bower, MFA Oil Co. – Gary Hoff Memorial Scholarship
  • Kaytlynn Drake, Shannon Heating & Cooling Inc. – Missouri Propane CONNECT Technical Scholarship
  • Ava Dumke, MFA Oil Co. – MPGA Scholarship
  • Rebecca Erisman, All Weather Propane – MPGA David Ray Cullom Memorial Scholarship
  • Hannah Froderman, AmeriGas Propane LP – MPGA Scholarship
  • Megan Kluender, Hoff Brothers LP Gas Co. – MPGA Scholarship
  • Madison Linneman, MFA Oil Co. – Missouri Propane CONNECT Technical Scholarship
  • Kennedy Parrish, Northeast Missouri Cooperative Services Inc. – MPGA Scholarship
  • Kellen Parrish, Northeast Missouri Cooperative Services Inc. – MPGA Scholarship
  • Angelica Vynyas, Al’s Gas Co. – MPGA John W. Brooks III Memorial Scholarship
  • Bowdy Wood, MFA Oil Co. – MPGA Scholarship

“We’re proud of all who applied and were selected for the various scholarships,” Fitzpatrick says. “Their accomplishments, leadership and dedication reflect the families and companies that make up Missouri’s propane community. We are grateful to the members and industry partners whose continued support has strengthened this program for more than 30 years.”

Since 1995, the NPGF scholarship fund has awarded nearly $2.92 million to more than 2,000 students across the country. MPGA has contributed to that success by endowing 10 scholarships designated specifically for Missouri students. MPGA students are also eligible for at-large and special award categories through NPGF.
