NPGA elects treasurer
The National Propane Gas Association’s (NPGA) board of directors elected Denis Gagne, vice president at Eastern Propane Gas, as the association’s national treasurer.
In this role, Gagne will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s budget and finances. He has served in a number of positions at the association, including with the Executive Committee, Propane Supply and Logistics Committee and Technology Standards & Safety Committee.
Gagne is a 50-year veteran in the industry, NPGA adds. He also serves on Eastern Propane Gas’ business development team and is an active member of the Propane Gas Association of New England.
Gagne joins the team of national officers, including Jerry Brick, chairman of the board; Chris Earhart, chairman elect; and Randy Thompson, vice chairman.
“Propane is clean American energy that supports local economies and fuels our modern way of life,” says Rick Roldan, president and CEO of NPGA. “Each one of these officers knows what it takes to grow a business, and they have been advocating for policies to help propane marketers across the country for decades. As the association continues its strategic planning process, their combined experience will benefit all NPGA members and help the association continue to advocate for the policies that advance propane in our communities.”
