PERC partners with North American Council for Freight Efficiency
The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) has partnered with the North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE) as a gold sponsor.
NACFE is a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing freight efficiency through research and promotion of technology to distribute products across North America. As a gold sponsor, PERC will participate in conversations with other members on the issues the transportation industry is facing and discuss where propane autogas provides value to fleets across the country.
Tucker Perkins, president and CEO of PERC, will join the NACFE Advisory Board for close collaboration with industry leaders.
“NACFE has been committed to transparency and efficiency in the freight industry, and we’ve admired their work for many years,” says Perkins. “Being a part of the NACFE community allows us to share critical insights with fleet managers to understand where propane autogas fits as a low-carbon, readily available solution for their operations.”
Beyond shared insights, this partnership represents a commitment to joint educational outreach initiatives. According to the organization, this partnership reinforces PERC’s commitment to educating fleets about propane autogas as a viable option as they evaluate pathways to improved efficiency and sustainability.
“We are pleased to welcome PERC as a gold sponsor,” says Mike Roeth, executive director of NACFE. “Their expertise in propane autogas will be a valuable addition to our existing conversations on improving efficiency and reducing emissions.”
The NACFE works to drive the development and adoption of efficiency-enhancing, environmentally beneficial and cost-effective technologies, services and operational practices in the movement of goods across North America. NACFE provides independent, unbiased research, including confidence reports on available technologies and guidance reports on emerging ones, which highlight the benefits and consequences of each, and deliver decision-making tools for fleets, manufacturers and others.
