Propane tank monitoring radio gets LP Gas Growth Summit launch

Technology Assurance Labs added the OWL 3G cellular propane tank monitoring radio to its product line. According to the company, the radio transmits tank level data daily to the propane dealer’s OWL (Overhead Wireless Logic System) software portal, which can be accessed via any device through a web browser or application programming interface for back office systems. The radio also offers a pay-as-you-go service that allows dealers to invoice customers monthly based on real usage. Ken Stauffer, cofounder of Technology Assurance Labs, says the OWL radio, which has a 10-year warranty, serves as a low-cost solution for monitoring residential propane tanks. The new product will be unveiled during the LP Gas Growth Summit, taking place Nov. 14-16 in Orlando, Florida.
