Quality Steel selects vice president, strategy and development

LT Corp., the parent company of Quality Steel, hired Dean Francis as vice president of strategy and corporate development.

He has more than 10 years of experience in management consulting, including with Kelley Management Consulting and his own firm, Francis Associates.

“Dean has been working with us for the past three-and-a-half years as an outside consultant and has already created tremendous value through his partnership with us,” says Sean Wessel, president and CEO of Quality Steel. “Dean knows and works well with our management team and has outstanding leadership and communication skills to help us to continue to move this company forward.”

Prior to his new role, Francis also served as president and CEO at Windsor Group, chairman at Great Lakes Die Cast and president at Prince Machine. He led and grew business units and teams within global companies such as Allied Signal, GE Plastics and Ethicon Endo-Surgery, says Wessel.

In his new role, Francis will develop and execute Quality Steel’s corporate strategy. He will also lead corporate development initiatives and processes aimed to grow the company, according to Wessel.

He has a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering degree and a master of business administration degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
