R.W. Earhart acquires Ohio retailer, three propane plants

R.W. Earhart Co., based in Troy, Ohio, acquired several propane plants in northwestern Ohio.

The propane retailer and fuel supplier acquired Franz Petroleum Products and its three bulk propane plants in Deshler, Holgate and Bascom, Ohio. Terms of the deal were not released.

Six Franz Petroleum employees will work for R.W. Earhart following the acquisition. R.W. Earhart now has access to Franz Petroleum’s customers in 10 counties of Ohio, according to a press release.
