Recall issued for STOK gas grills

April 23, 2012 By

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, in cooperation with One World Technologies of Anderson, S.C., announced a voluntary recall of STOK Island and STOK Quattro gas grills. According to the recall, issued on April 19, the regulator on the grill can leak propane, which can ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers. The firm is aware of 569 reports of regulators leaking propane, with no injuries reported, the recall notes. The grills, manufactured in China, were sold at Home Depot stores nationwide and in Canada and Direct Tools Factory Outlet stores nationwide from March 2011 through February 2012. Consumers are instructed to stop using the recalled grills and contact One World Technologies at 800-867-9624 for a free replacement gas regulator for the grill or, for more information, visit www.stokgrills.com.
