Roadside inspections part of safety campaign

Federal, state and local enforcement agencies across North America are performing roadside inspections on commercial motor vehicle brake systems from Sept. 8-14, according to the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA), which sponsors the twice-a-year campaign. More than 30,000 brake inspections are expected to be conducted during Brake Safety Week, a CVSA press release notes.
