Star Gas president announces retirement

Dan Donovan, president and CEO of Star Gas Partners L.P., will retire Sept. 30 after 33 years with the company. He will remain a member of Star’s board of directors and provide consulting services for two years beyond his official retirement.

Steve Goldman, Star’s current COO who in a press release emphasized the company’s determination to grow its propane business further, will take Donovan’s place.
