TerraVest taps leader for US propane tank business

John Hearn joins TerraVest Industries as the vice president and general manager of TerraVest Tanks.

The company says Hearn will lead its U.S. domestic tank business in customer service, logistics and operations.

“We all look forward to working closely with John to continue executing on our propane business growth strategies,” says Mitch DeBelser, president of the compressed gas division of TerraVest Industries.

Hearn’s experience, DeBelser adds, will help TerraVest continue to provide solutions to its customers.

Hearn served previously as the general manager of TRIARC Tank (formerly Arcosa Tank), holding various positions with increasing responsibility.

“I am proud of and excited by the challenges and opportunities that TerraVest has in front of them,” Hearn says. “I am honored to be a part of the knowledgeable, passionate and value-based team that TerraVest has assembled.”

Hearn holds a Master of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas A&M. He has a strong passion for the propane industry with a love for facing challenges and creating strong relationships with the customers he serves, according to TerraVest. Hearn has two children.

TerraVest is a diversified industrial company that sells goods and services to a variety of end markets. The company manufactures home heating products, propane, anhydrous ammonia and natural gas liquid transport vehicles and storage vessels, energy processing equipment and fiberglass storage tanks. Its brands include Maxfield, Mississippi Tank, Pro-Par and Signature Truck Systems.
